Hello to our prayer support team!

Attached, please find our October update from Mbale, Uganda.

Two things that are not in the newsletter: 

1. We are being invited to spend more time out in the villages around Mbale, which means we are making acquaintances that can turn into witnessing opportunities. Please pray that this continues and that we are effective ministers of Jesus Christ.

2. As we move toward the rainy season, pray that we become really good at "reading the mountain" and timing our walks so we don't get caught in deluges. (Weather systems move into Mbale from Mt. Wasale and Mt. Elgon to the east. "Reading the mountain" is correctly judging how long one has from the time it starts thundering and raining on top of the mountains until the heavens open up where we are.)
